Is your Health Locked Up?
Posted on 2010-12-27 15:59:56

A subluxation is the result of spinal bones with improper motion or position affecting nerve communications between your brain and your body.
A subluxation is a stress response. Muscles go into spasm. Spinal bones lock up. And adjacent nerves are choked or chafed. This interferes with the control and regulation of your body. This garbles communications between the brain and parts of your body.
Distorted nerve communications can be an underlying cause of many health problems beyond just headaches and back pain. For example. Interfere with nerve impulses going to or from your stomach: stomach problems.
Only a chiropractic examination can detect subluxations. And only qualified chiropractors can reduce their effect to your nervous system, naturally.
Find out if you have subluxations before they become more serious and more difficult to correct.
Locally Grown, Organically Grown - You Are What You Eat!

As of right now, unless we make a special effort, our food sources are significantly compromised. Up until the past few years, those living in cities were only able to purchase produce that had traveled long distances over many days to reach their stores. The nutritional value of these fruits and vegetables was necessarily substantially degraded. The nutritional content of protein sources - meat, fowl, fish, dairy, and eggs were likewise degraded by chemical additives, antibiotics, and draconian living conditions.
Organic farmers use compost and "green" fertilizer to provide proper nutrition to their crops. Cattle and other livestock raised organically receive neither antibiotics nor growth hormones, and eat feed that is itself raised and harvested on organic farms.
Because they are locally grown, organic fruits and vegetables contain higher levels of antioxidants than produce grown via other methods. Antioxidants are powerful, health-promoting biochemicals that help prevent a wide variety of diseases, including inflammatory diseases and cancer. Organically grown food not only tastes better but is actually good for you, which of course is what we want our food to be.

Yoga and Chiropractic go hand in hand

Chiropractic care and yoga are comparable and complementary disciplines. The practice of yoga provides strength, flexibility, and centering, enhancing physical performance on multiple levels. Participants in yoga classes derive across-the-board benefits for their long-term health and well-being.
Chiropractic care could be described in very similar terms. Chiropractic care provides more energy by allowing muscles and ligaments to relax and do their jobs properly. The result is increased alertness and increased reserves of strength to do all day's tasks and activities.
Chiropractic care provides more flexibility by aligning spinal joints and increasing spinal ranges of motion. Hip joints, knees and ankles, and shoulders and arms all respond to the improved central ranges of motion. All physical movements become easier, freer, and more relaxed.
Chiropractic care improves health and well-being by improving communication between the nerve system and the rest of the body. When the body receives proper flows of information from the brain and spinal cord, it is enabled to function at peak effectiveness.
For maximum health, chiropractic care and yoga are a powerful combination.
